Hi all. I’ve got a bit of a dilemma I’m hoping you can help me with. My big toenails keep causing holes in my trail runners. I’ve tried taping the inside of the shoe, but the tape just doesn’t stick for long. Taping the toenail probably helps a bit but don’t really want to do this every time I use my shoes.
I’ve considered a few other options like sticky some material inside with superglue, but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea. I’ve also thought about getting those toe cap protectors, but I’ve got no clue if they actually work. Anyone tried those?
Perhaps there’s a specific brand of trail runners that are more resistant to this kind of wear and tear?
Keen to hear your thoughts and any advice you’ve got!
