Purpose of the Forum
The Loop Track Forum (“Forum”) is designed to provide a space for users to discuss hiking in Australia.
Acceptance of Terms
By using the Forum, you agree to this Agreement. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
License and Permitted Content
Loop Track grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Forum for discussing hiking and related topics.
You may not post content that is defamatory, offensive, illegal, or abusive; incites violence; or infringes on intellectual property rights.
Content Ownership and Usage
You retain ownership of the content you post. However, by posting, you grant Loop Track a worldwide, royalty-free indefinite license to use, modify, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Forum.
Loop Track’s Rights

Conduct and Reporting
Code of Conduct
You agree to follow the Forum’s code of conduct, which includes not posting prohibited content.
- Stay on Topic: The Forum is designed to discuss hiking in Australia. Please keep your posts relevant to the category you are posting in.
- Be Respectful: Treat all members with respect. Abusive, hateful, or discriminatory language will not be tolerated.
- Avoid Sharing Unsafe Practices: This is a hiking forum, and safety is our top priority. Do not post any content that promotes risky, dangerous, or unsafe hiking practices. This includes, but is not limited to, recommending unsafe trails, suggesting that safety gear is unnecessary, or encouraging risky behaviour.
- Illegal Material: Do not post content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes on the legal rights of others.
- Offensive Content: Avoid posting content that is defamatory, offensive, or abusive. Content that incites violence or contains hate speech will be removed.
- Intellectual Property: Do not post content that you do not own or have permission to use. This includes copyrighted or trademarked material.
- Advertising and Spam: Do not use the Forum to advertise products or services, or to spam other members.
- Polls and Petitions: Posting of polls, petitions, or links to the same is not allowed.

Moderation and Disciplinary Actions
Role of Moderators
Moderators are volunteers who help maintain the Forum. They have the authority to remove content that violates this Agreement.
Loop Track reserves the right to take disciplinary action against users who violate this Agreement, which may include temporary suspension or permanent banning from the Forum.
If you believe your copyright has been infringed upon, you can report it to Loop Track for investigation.
Disclaimers and Liability
The Forum is provided “as is” without any warranties. Loop Track is not liable for any indirect damages, including but not limited to, loss of data or other intangibles, arising from your use of the Forum or any interactions you have with other Forum members.
By using the Loop Track Forum, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these indemnification terms. Failure to comply may result in legal action against you.
You are solely responsible for your actions and the content you post on the Forum. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Loop Track, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including legal fees, resulting directly or indirectly from or arising out of your use of the Forum, your posts, or your violation of this Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia.
Changes to Terms
Loop Track may change these terms at any time. Continued use of the Forum signifies your acceptance of any changes.
You can terminate your account at any time. Some terms may continue to apply even after your account is terminated.
